Home is where happiness lives

To start, I know this is a day early, but I will not remember to post this tomorrow



Once again, I know it's been a while.  I am slowly getting better at remembering to stop by as my life takes its topsy turvy turns. I wanted to talk about my latest deviation.  I know that I devoted a significant part of my life to you lovely deviants and this community.  I will continue to be devoted and hold  a special place in my heart for deviantArt and the #Thumbshare community.  That saying, home is where happy lives, rings true and reminds me greatly of deviantArt.  For some place to be truly home it has to have a few simple characteristics:

Make you feel safe and happy
A place where you can receive encouragement or constructive criticism when you need it
Have people that love and care for you - These people, even if not related by blood, become your family
Make you feel accepted for what & who you are , and what & who you aren't
and, most importantly, you are able to come and go for extended periods of time and be welcomed back with open arms every time you return

This is what I call a home and this is why I call, and will always call, deviantART home.  I am happy to once again be here for dA's birthday and to say Happy Birthday dA/TS.  A lots of stuff (some very good) is happening in my life right now.
