Duct Tape Purse

Just putting this here a few days then moving it to scraps.

I saw a picture of a duct tape criss-cross beach bag (without a pattern) and thought I'd make a purse size one that had cuter embellishments.

The entire thing is made of duct tape

- I've never used duct tape to make something like this so it was a challenge (just ask the poor people on skype listening to me toil over it!).

-I didn't have my sewing supplies with me so I made thread out of duct tape for the bottom. The picture was taken at night so the colors aren't exact, but close enough.

-Also, I ran out of tape and was unable to make the straps how I wanted but they'll do for now.

If I get time and money I'll re-do the straps and add some buttons.



I used it today and it held the weight of 3 books (2 of which were 300-500 page books), my composition book, an apple, my wallet, a water bottle, and odds and ends. So, I'm quite proud of this silly bag, heh
