Plunge.
Somewhere inside
is the real that I miss.
Beneath the smoke and mirrors
is the soul that I lost.
I beat it down
and push it back
until it springs
without an outlet.
I Implode.
Leaving a shell
waiting for all the kings horseman
knowing the rhymes were only reason
before I was tainted
by the simple sound
of silence.

As some of you know I have hundreds of poems but I am very shy about my poetry and had to be convinced to post these... especially this one and the next one... I know its not very good... But I wrote this one after something horrific happened so I guess the emotion's in the right place...
